Empirica has adopted
the philosophy of empowerment at the core of its business model.
Empirica believes that entrepreneurship and access to opportunities
are key attributes in the success of a BEE model.
Ownership and Control
Ownership is 100% black, 90% directly owned and
10% within a staff participation scheme. Management control is
also 65% black.
Staffing
and Skills Development
Empirica will actively seek to provide opportunities
to dynamic, capable disempowered individuals. We aim to establish
a graduate training program to assist in developing and exposing
young minds to the financial services consulting market.
Procurement
As a
recently established business, Empirica’s
current procurement spend is low. As the business develops, Empirica
will seek other BEE businesses for its procurement activities.
